China Roses .........

.................No - 20 year old Chinese Roses ! When I had my Antiques shop, I always tried to have fresh flowers in the Showrooms but very occasionally this was not possible. I normally really dislike artificial flowers intensely but when I saw these, I was quite impressed. They were hand made of silk in China and the quality and detail is very good - right down to the raindrops on the petals! They certainly have earned their keep. As I have had these so long, I thought the sort of Antique/sepia treatment worked pretty well. (the blooms are just about this colour, anyway)

Weather bright and sunny so far with the temperature at 4 deg C so not too bad at all
