Paused Shielding - Day 65

Two exciting events happened today; well, as exciting as it gets round here on a cold, wet and windy Sunday!

1) Toffee’s posh new indoor loo arrived. Sid ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2747541596835676204 ) has really unnerved her, and with the nights drawing in, she’s becoming more and more reluctant to go outside.

2) Late afternoon it finally stopped raining, after nearly 72 hours of continuous rain! My home made rain gauge (see extra) shows we had 7”/17.5cm, though the local news just said our area received between 30cm and 50cm of rain. Unsurprisingly, we now have dozens of flood alerts and flooded roads.
