After the rain asters

Yesterdays rain finally relented........heard it on te iwndows during the night, but when imwoke just after 7 it was already a bright morning.

A lazy morning......a leisurely fruity breakfast then a walk in the sunshine, where we ended up collecting the papers and reading them whilst having a coffee.

Walking home we passed by the tributary that runs through town and out towards where we live.... its normally not much more than a light trickle, but this morning it was a real torrent, so high, it had flooded its banks in parts!! These asters caught my eye on the bank nearby, looking lovely in the sunshine, so that was my blip sorted.

We had lunch once back at the ranch, hub had had one eye on his teams result, happily they won, unlike my shambles of a team later this afternoon, only to be surpassed by our scouse neighbours this evening ;-) Two truly atrocious results :-(

We have had pork loin for dinner, Ive had mine with roasted vegetables and couscous, hub had parmentier potatoes & peas. Fresh fruit for dessert...redeemed myself weight wise now :-)

Ive been ordering more "x" presents today :-0
Even though I wont be Way for the whole of November as would normally we themcase, I am still in the habit of getting orgsnised early it seems ;-)

A new week approaches, I wonder what it will hold....hope yours is a good one, stay safe.
