Trees and Roesound

Showers this morning, more in the afternoon and and more this evening.  Mostly cloudy and dull, and a bit of a breeze.

Up early, for a Sunday morning.  A fairly quiet morning around the house, and some washing out on the line (showers permitting).  Headed out walkies with friend Julie and the dogs in the afternoon.  Mutton for the Sunday roast, fine change.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, and now feet up.  Mam popped by to deliver some more beetroot chutney.

We managed a good walk this afternoon, and it stayed mostly dry too.  We never really get much of an autumn here in Shetland, any trees we do have go from full bloom, to a battered leafless trunk again.  This is the closest we get to autumn forest colours in the trees, and a rare sight of a Shetland treehouse.  Trees at Roesound, Muckle Roe.
