…………………….…Bay



Pukerua Bay is a small sea-side community at the southern end of the Kapiti Coast, NZ.

It is 12 km north of the Porirua City Centre on State Highway 1 and 30 km north of central Wellington.

Today was our last day in the North Island and this coastal walk was on our bucket list before returning to Nelson in the South Island.

We loved the solitude and the crashing waves. Gusty wind greeted us when we turned for our walk back to the carpark, but it wasn’t unpleasant.
