Old fire

In the excitement of our new wood burning stove, we don't forget the old tried and tested fireplace - a fire that tends to heat up the atmosphere around the house more than that within the house. That said, a great fire to sit and watch in between dashing down to the woodstore to replensih supplies. Tidier too now that Tricia has pointed the flagstones.
Belgian friends, A&N, had asked if we wanted to join them for lunch at the campsite today and so off we trotted. no surpries and the traditional good meal. tricia felt the need to walk back in the rain - someone had to drive the car home.
