Missoula, Montana

We left Wenatchee, Washington this morning vaguely headed towards Montana - neither of us had been there before and very much interested in doing so. We'd thought we might land in Spokane for a night, but instead ended up driving on through to Missoula, Montana. We haven't had a chance to explore it, since we arrived in the late afternoon, but did go down for a walk by the Clark Fork River which runs though the city. More tomorrow on where we are, but I had to share this crazy iPhone photo.

There's a lovely walkway by the river...more exploration necessary....and we walked for a bit. We came across a couple standing on an lookout over the river and they asked me to take their photo...super cute. But right behind them were a couple of small rapids which intrigued me, so grabbed a couple of shots. Later, back at the hotel and trying to decide which mediocre shot to post, found this one....something ethereal is clearing happening....but what? :-)
