Sunshine and shadows

The best of the weather today was in the morning .... plenty of sunshine and almost too warm for a jacket. Just like yesterday things changed in the afternoon with the disappearance of the blue and the arrival of grey and some intermittent showers of rain.

These are the leaves of the Spindle Tree also known as the Burning Bush. The leaves are beginning to take on an orange glow but as we advance further into autumn they will turn a glorious crimson.

The tree is just outside the House for an Art Lover, where I had coffee with a church friend this morning, so I know exactly where to find it to check on the colour changes.
