Keswick and Derwentwater

3rd of next batch of pics

Lovely day today so, after getting a load of washing out and the tents spread out again, we took Mum for a walk in the wheelchair. Her last trip was down to the lake but we didn't know if we'd manage the push back up the hill so we went to the river, parks and town - still hills but less steep.
It was a good choice as it's some years since she'd been that way and it wasn't too busy.
After lunch Mr Rat and I climberd Latrigg and the views were great. Afternoon is not the best time for across the town and lake as the sun is all wrong but it still makes a fine view. I've identified the house - near the field below Castlehead.
The extra is of the view of Helvellyn which is better in the afternoon than morning.
