breezy

A sunny day with a fresh breeze. We walked to Routin Brig again. I remembered to look for salmon this time but didn't see any. I don't know if there are less than in days gone by, but it does lift the heart to see them leaping up the falls.

In the afternoon I had a lovely surprise visit from Liz, so the social distancing bench came into its own again. Then a FaceTime with my Mum, Dad and brother. Amazing how we can keep our social networks going in these strange times.

Inktober was "teeth" so I drew the plaster cast which the orthodontist gave me when my braces finally came off in 2014 (extra)

Time to cook the tea now..a nice autumnal parsnip and apple soup :-)
