Green
I went up the Kirkgate at lunchtime to get a few supplies and again found myself having to keep my gaze lowered due to the dazzling quality of the bright shiny thing (see yesterday's blip). So it was perhaps because I was looking at the paving underfoot that I noticed for the first time that all of the lampposts up the Kirkgate have got a bright patch of green around them; incipient moss, I suppose. Strange how I'd never consciously noticed this before, but how I now won't be able to stop noticing it!
Maybe its encouraged by rainwater that runs down the lamppost and irrigates it in a very small way; surely the occasional admixture of dog pee can't be much help.
