Gate Post

We popped to see a friend today who has just come home from a month in hospital. Just a quick visit and wore masks.
Came back via Ennerdale to have a bit of fresh air and get some autumn pictures. While there I noticed this old gate post, was interesting to see it made of concrete rather than the usual solid stone slab.
I liked all the small stones that were visible in the decaying concrete and the old hinge.
