Bridge at Rigmaden

I used to work with a Canadian chap and when it came to the weather, he said the thing he missed about home was having four distinct seasons. And I knew what he meant. We do get good seasonal days here but then, in Cumbria, at least, we get days like today; miserable and rainy, and nothing to indicate it was autumn.

The high point of my day was popping up to Rigmaden to see my friends Chris and Janice, and belatedly giving Janice her birthday presents. I crossed over the Lune on the bridge there and this is the view north.
