Pine Siskin

I spent today at home chained to the computer.  Doing what I do requires continuing education, I'm suppose to get 30 hours in over a 3 year period.  Most times this is not an issue, this time around for some reason I'm a bit short and my time period ends December 31st to get the credits!  So here I sit at the computer trying to get some online courses done.  Upside is the computer is facing the bird feeder so I get to watch the comings and goings of the birds and squirrels!  Today looking up there was a spot of yellow, looking up the bird it is a Pine Siskin and it had brought friends, there were about 8 of the little guys around the feeder and in the tree close by. 

In my extra you will find a picture which to me is kind of fall in a nutshell all the oranges, yellows and reds of the flowers getting ready to go out for the season in a bed that has definitely seen better days.
