Plume of smoke

Colorado is still on fire. The wind had been blowing a lot lately so we had a brief reprieve from the daily smoke and ash. Today was calmer so around 3 this afternoon it was post apocalyptic dark outside. I got home around 5 and took this photo looking west past the neighbors tree. That "pink" is the sun. I can't see the mountains from my house, I have to get out of the neighborhood for that. It wouldn't matter today because you can't see them anyway being all banked in with smoke. So, so incredibly sad to see.
