AUTUMN ABSTRACT

Until this year, I have not been very fond of the color ORANGE in gardening or decorating, except during Autumn.  That is changed recently, when 
orange seems very cheerful, especially with flowers.

It is cooling off here, but there are few signs of Autumn, so we
need to be creative inside.  (SEE EXTRA)  I bought these glass pumpkins 
when we lived in Michigan, at a wonderful, world class garden:
FREDERIK MEIJER GARDENS & SCULPTURE PARK, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Every time I bring out these pumpkins I am reminded of all the times we visited there, in every season.  It is probably gorgeous there, right now.

Just when we thought the presidential election season could not get any
weirder, a FLY on VP Pence's head, made social media go berserk.  He is at the center of a lot of jokes, but he offended many women by the way he treated our future VP:  Kamala Harris.   Bye Bye Mike!    Tell Mother to wear her mask next time.
