Okarito & Ross

We had a wonderful boat trip with 2 other people on the Okarito lagoon. Saw so much bird life, including herons ( main photos); godwits; royal spoonbills,terns; kereru .

The big skies and ocean and lagoon was magic.

After a good walk up hill, we drove further up the Coast and now in Ross- a very small village. The camping ground is right by the sea and we are staying ina wonderfully converted shipping container! ( extra)
