Dublin Bay

The carpet layer arrived before 8am, and got straight into work! We left him and met up with a new friend and her 2 dogs. The dogs just arrived yesterday from Australia for a new life in Wānaka. Frida made them very welcome and we had a lovely walk at Dublin Bay and then back to the dogs mum’s place for coffee. By the time we arrived home, the carpet was laid and the wonderful man moved our 2 couches back into place!

We have spent the rest of the day putting the house back together, Spring. Cleaning , rehanging curtains, paintings etc. it’s wonderful to reclaim our home with this lovely addition that brings so much light and warmth.
Aren’t we fortunate!
