The Ivy on the Square

Just as my school friend and I returned for the first time since March to the Ivy restaurant in the Square for coffee, the restaurant will close again tonight until 26th October.
After waiting longer than usual after the lockdown loosened for the restaurant to cater for breakfasts and coffees, it is an unreasonable disappointment for the enjoyment to be snatched away so soon.
However, with the u-turn on cafés with a liquor licence remaining open as long as they don’t serve any alcohol, Soderberg will remain open after all to welcome social butterflies like me who prefer company with their coffee.
