Sorry

I should really have gone somewhere today before the weather changed.
But the only place I went was the shop first thing.
So all you get in the way of a Blip is my challenge of the day.
I needed a challenge because I had made 4 spinning tops and all of them flit about like bees on flowers before settling down to a single spot (not what I want).
So I cut a piece of horrible soft wood (which tears a lot rather than cutting) which had some large 'worm' holes which I wanted to try and make a feature of.
Luckily one of the holes ran down  through the sapwood under the bark.
The base isn't brilliant due to the tear-out, but I can live with it. After all, it didn't explode whilst on the lathe.
