Almost still...

Swetha's cat Buddy is a constant blur except when he's asleep. I say this to distance myself from the poor focus quality here. He's a sweet young cat and likes my ankles.

A very sociable day...I'll need time to recover. Went to book club IN PERSON this morning. There were five of us plus a sixth via zoom, but he was mostly asleep. It was sunny and pleasant on a brick patio in the sunshine, and we'd read a mystery (I guess because it's October) that everyone liked. Hadn't participated in months. Then had lunch (bring-my-own sandwich) with friend Susan Jane on her porch and had a great visit; hadn't seen her in months either. 

Now the day has vamoosed...and since I didn't finish Still Life (our bookclub book) until 3:00 this morning, I am doing the same. Hope you all have a good weekend...a 3-day one here!
