Day Out

Mr K and I had a lovely day out together today in Oxford. Papa collected the Little Misses from school and took Miss E swimming so there was no hurry to get back. What a treat!
A lot of walking and too much food has left me exhausted but very happy!
We had a spectacular breakfast in Browns - eggs Benedict and French toast. Yummy! A couple of hours mooching in the fabulous Ashmolean (including tea and cake to revive us!) A browse round Waterstones and Blackwells, a few drinks in one of my favourite pubs sat outside warmed by an old fashined charcoal brazier, a wander round the Radcliffe Camera, the Bodlean, the Bridge of Sighs..... All the Oxford sights!
Followed by a chocolate crepe because I really didn't feel like we'd eaten enough!!
What a great day!!
