Head-on

I once read you shouldn't photograph birds head-on, and I'm sure that makes sense when you are looking at an eagle - but the itty bitty birds make for such funny shapes when you do - I just couldn't resist.
There's a new bird in town too - I spotted a Mrs. Common Redpoll (well, I called it a sparrow with a red hat first). Always makes me so happy when that happens, plus it justifies me buying my weight worth in birdfood ;)

So happy it's the weekend! The Beloved has the whole weekend off too - first one since early January - so we have all kinds of not-doing-much-together planned. Woot!
