The garden across the road

There are some great autumn colours in our shared garden at the moment. They looked especially lovely against darkening clouds in the sunshine at lunchtime today.

My day so far: secret recreational project, run. lunch, Carcassonne, yarden, garden, rain. I'd still be in the garden now if a sudden downpour had not driven me inside.

Next: bath, delivery of baby present to Beryl and Sean, supper, television, reading, sleep.

Paddy has sent me an extra to add to my blip journal for Tuesday This will be a permanent record of a momentous event in his life as a fisherman.

Exercise today: 5k run.
