Half A Century

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Mary Doll and Victor’s golden wedding anniversary dinner was hastily rearranged to last night. It was nice but Mary Doll wasn’t quite herself. She was understandably cheesed off about not being able to celebrate on the day with her whole family but she cheered up after a couple of glasses of wine and a blast of ‘Congratulations’ from the waiters when her (candle lit) dessert was served!

The Mini Princesses and I dropped off their present today and she was on much better form. Despite the circumstances, they’d had a lovely day - they met my brother and sister-in-law for lunch after a ‘relaxing morning’ of going to Morrisons and Asda!

Congratulations to them. Fifty years is very impressive and definitely something to be celebrated. May they have many more supermarket visits together!
