Cycle ride

Great to be out on the bikes again today. We cycled east to the Levenhall lagoons. We saw a wide variety of bird life including a close encounter with a curlew. Despite the cloud the views to the Neuk of Fife to the north and the rolling Ochills to the west were inspiring. The chilly wind bowled us quickly on towards Prestongrange but significantly hampered our home run! On crossing the East Lothian boundary the Edinburgh road surface was immediately perilous. East Lothian seems far better organised!
