Signs of our times

Portobello is a resilient seaside community in these Covid times.

We walked along the promenade this late afternoon as the drinkers were sipping their last drops of pulled pints ahead of the 18h closure which will last for 16 days. An interesting debate has raged all day about what is a cafe? (Cafes are allowed to continue trading). Tough times for all those whose livelihood depends on hospitality.
