Saturday: 2 Months Later

We walked into the neighbourhood this morning to take care of a few things.  Well, we actually had to walk in separately.  We wanted to get going but Barney was out on patrol so I waited for him and then caught up with K. after he deigned to come in.

We met up with Mia and Sharon at ‘Cactus Club’ on W Broadway for a late lunch.  I had a very tasty poké bowl.

I went for a walk when we got back and dropped off a few books in the little local community book depository.  We have a periodic sort out of books but second hand stores don’t seem to want them at the moment so this seems like a good alternative.  Someone had dropped some comics - all a bit soggy sadly.

Having really enjoyed ‘Ammonite’ a few nights ago we watched Francis Lee’s film ‘God’s Own Country’ which was also excellent.  A lot of similarities in the way it’s shot.
