Rain and VOTES

It rained on and off today, and I walked my usual route during a break in showers. Last time I passed by this large clump of mums they were all upright and perky, but isn't it nice how they fall away so gracefully. It must be from the weight of the rain and maybe they'll bounce back. 
Bouncing back: just what we hope for our states, our country, and the very planet. Rain to end the harm from wild fires and . . .  VOTES to end the tyranny that is harming everything else.
Rather an awkward attempt to connect the two themes, but it doesn't matter. What matters is to VOTE. - all of us must not forget to VOTE.
