In Recognition

The living donor recognition scheme was inspired by Dr Magdi Shehata, Consultant Transplant Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospital Trust. The silver pin was designed by Liz Welch and incorporates the Crossed Anchor as a symbol of hope and the ancient Egyptian Ankh symbol to represent a zest for life.
4 years today since the transplant, seems so much longer ago.
