Lindisfarne

The weather changed today and I spent more of it driving than on foot. Leaving Alnmouth after breakfast I had I intended to walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castel and back. The rain and especially the very strong wind made this unappealing. Instead I mooched about in Bamburgh until it was safe to cross the causeway to Lindisfarne. I took lots of photos, my favourite part of the island was the harbour, so many lobster pots.
In this blip I managed to capture the castle as well. Walking back to the car park I spotted a tree adorned with discarded fishing kit which made a great improvised climbing contraption, worth an extra blip.
Back home now and confined to the area of the Greater Glasgow Health Board for at least the next 14 days.
Good to hear that my local café had their busiest Saturday for a long time. Their raspberry eclairs are the best, and as far as I know they don’t do Jaffa cakes.
