Maple tree at Elterwater

It was claggy this morning with heavy sweeping drizzle. ( see first extra )

We walked to Ambleside ( 5 miles ) in the rain, stopping at Elterwater to take the photo of the Maple tree.

At 3pm the sun came out briefly and a wonderful rainbow appeared!!! ( see second extra )
