WFH Day #132.5

TUESDAY

I took half a day's leave and spent the best part of four hours "sanding" down the walls and ceiling in the kitchen in preparation for painting later in the week.

Our woodworking teacher used to reprimand pupils who used the term "sand paper" telling us that all abrasive paper manufactured after WW2 was "glass paper". Things must have moved on since then as the sheets I used this morning were aluminium oxide.

I spent the afternoon working from home. Watched Sir Kier Starmer's call for a 2-3 week "circuit break" lockdown and then cooked charred pepper, lime, cannelloni bean and onion fajitas for dinner.

Also watched the Apple presentation. The camera on the new iPhone 12 Pro looks fantastic.

What did the dog say after it chewed the glass paper?
