Summer has taken leaf

Excuse the pun, it's late!

Lovely autumn leaves all over the place as I wandered into town at lunchtime. Bought a bright pink weatherproof coat in a sale, to equip me for those blustery (or in the case of today - wet) walks. Have to send a few bits and pieces (that she left behind) off to J at uni, couldn't resist buying her some little surprise gifts to put into it - that made me happy!

Then this evening I was able to see my brother and sis-in-law now that their period of isolation (following a visit to England) has ended. 

And somehow I seem to be up late, and rather cold, and very badly needing to take my contact lenses out! Will have to return to journals for a catch up tomorrow.
