Autumn Sundown
Finally we got a sunny day and we took the chance to get out and walk. After that it was unloading the car from yesterday's trip, then more work in the garden behind "Betty's" and around the new veranda.
As the sun went down the village darkened while the trees enjoyed a slightly longer time in the sun.
There was a real chill in the air as it got dark and we moved the more sensitive plants in pots into the house or cellar. By midnight it was only just above zero so it feels very likely there's going to be our first frost tonight.
