... Understandably.
‘Night is drawing nigh’, as the old song used to say.
Even as a child that song, ‘Now the Day is Over’ used to fill me with unspeakable melancholy, as I think about it now it still does.
It’s only a quick phone blip, but the colours are pleasant.
I popped out for a few essentials, I should have gone earlier in the day, but wasn’t ‘in the mood’.
So I waited (as you do) until I had to rush or the shops would have closed.
Human psychology eh?
(Or what my Mother would have called ‘lazy-itis’).
