Moûtiers Walking Tour
We spent today exactly the opposite from the way we had intended to. We were going to stay holed up drinking tea, reading, and marathon-watching TV shows, but it was too sunny and beautiful out to stay in! Thinking the sunshine would do us good, we bought a pamphlet from l'office du tourisme and went on a self-guided walking tour of the town. We didn't see anything we hadn't seen before, but learned some interesting new stuff. For example, a couple of weekends in February (next weekend) the Moûtiers train station is the second busiest train station in France after Gare Lyon Part Dieu! That is a serious number of tourists... I digress. Anyway, Spencer and I both went with our cameras, but I wasn't enamored of really any of the photos either of us took. In the end I chose this photo, taken by Spencer. I believe this is backside of a building/property I have photographed here and here. Old Moûtiers glamour.
