Free speech

Back up to London again today to chair a Committee meeting. Popped onto Trafalgar Square before getting the train home - it was absolutely packed today. A couple of those standing statue people, two men in kilts playing bagpipes, a group of young lads hurtling up and down on roller skates, a juggler, a (very small) flash mob in fancy dress doing a Harlem shuffle (?!?) a group of Alevi protestors on the main Square and a group of Baluchi protestors on the North Terrace ! It was quite overwhelming and in all the years I've been coming on the Square I don't think I've ever seen quite so much going on at once.
