Painted Hall

OK, I know this wasn't taken today - but I wanted to share another pic from my day out in Greenwich last weekend. This is the Painted Hall in the Old Royal Naval College. Such a beautiful room, in fact it's often described as the 'finest dining hall in Europe'. When I took the photo I didn't notice the lady standing in the middle... then I thought she'd spoiled what was supposed to be an architectural pic... but now I think she adds a human element to it.

Spending my day catching up with paperwork after the committee meeting yesterday, visiting mother-in-law in her nursing home, and looking forward to roast pork for dinner tonight :)
