Heptonstall Baptist Cemetery

Mount Zion Baptist Chapel (now known as the 'Beacon Church') is a short distance away. This is Slack Top cemetery which was opened when the Mount Zion Chapelyard was found to be too small. The first burial in this new location was in 1867.
It can be a very bleak place, but has some quite remarkable views....:-)
