Abbot Hall Farm

This is part of Abbot Hall Farm (originally the farmhouse, I guess). It lies at the top of Mitchelgate and just above it is Abbotsgate. The farm itself once stretched north-west from here and all of the Fairgarth estate is built on its (former) land. 

I'm no botanist: that's ivy, right? It smothers the house and comes into its own in the autumn as you can see.
