Buoyant

Some colour needed on a cold, damp, blowy day. New signage has gone up referring to the correct use of buoys - sadly every one is misspelled - bouy - how is that possible??

Not much to report. We are all on tenterhooks as to whether we shall be going down to level 5 lockdown (just don't think about doing anything status) for maybe 6 weeks; there's been a lot of huffing and puffing for the last week and cabinet meets tomorrow for an emergency session. In a way it would be a relief to get some firm advice and know exactly what we should be doing and for how long. 

Oh, and the serious news - Fungie has gone missing. Fungie is the much beloved mascot of Dingle in Kerry - a dolphin who swam in in 1983 and has literally kept the town afloat every since. He is a loner but loves human company and any boat that goes out in the harbour is almost guaranteed to see him. Industries have been built upon this - everything from boat trips to keyrings to cuddly toys. Yes he brings in the money but he will be hugely missed. Hopefully he's just gone on his holidays,
