The Pier House

Dull and grey, I zoomed around the circuit on the lookout for some abstract reflections for Mono Monday. A puddle provided what I was looking for, quite a large one as it has rained all night and most of the day.

Just waiting to hear what the next few weeks hold - an announcement is to be made tonight. The general opinion is it's going to be a tough 5 weeks of severe restrictions. I nipped into Bantry this morning and bought some paint - a good opportunity to redecorate the bathroom and our bedroom which I've been meaning to do for the last year or two! The decorator's was heaving - everyone obviously had the same idea!
Elfin for the bedroom should you be wondering - very very pale blue
pantry blue for the bathroom - actually a bluey green and eiderdown for the walls - one of the very many off whites which have exotic names - quite tempted with cashmere wrap, wedding bouquet , cream tea and ivory tusk - all looking pretty similar! In fact more or less the same colours as we have at the moment, no more dramas or stress needed!
