'Billy No Mates'
Today we have been 'Billy No Mates'. But do you know what?..................... We don't care.
First thing this morning I went along the lane for my walk. The sun was shining and the sky was blue and the birds were singing. What more could anyone ask for at 8am.
A couple of hours later Ann wanted to go to the 'The Range', so she said I could go with her, wait in the car, and then she would take me to Long Rock to play on the beach with my ball. So that is what we did. It was fabulous on Long Rock beach. There were loads of other doggies there but when I'm playing with my ball I'm totally focused so I didn't want to play with them. I just wanted to play with my ball. It was such fun. And just look how lovely the sunshine looks shimmering on the water.
When we got home I had snooze time and Ann watched ''The Shining'. It was on TV last night but she was too scared to watch it late at night. Lol! Ann worked in a 'remote hotel' for 6 years in the late 90/00s so she was always too scared to watch it. Actually the hotel wasn't that remote. It was the 'Mullion Cove Hotel', but coming from the capital city of Scotland, it was remote. Lol. TBH it was one of these movies that she's been mean meaning to watch for decades but has never got round to watching. What a load of rubbish??? She didn't even understand it. And no, it wasn't even scary – just stupid. What a waste of two hours??????
Anyway after that we went for a trek around town. I had a lovely play on Porthminster Beach. But trekking along Wharf Road on the harbour it was ridiculously busy. Stopped at Porthgwidden Beach so that Ann could have a glass of wine (first glass of wine at a Beach Bar since we arrived two weeks ago). The sun was shining, the sky was blue and it was warm enough to sit outside. And sometimes when you're 'Billy No Mates' you just have to amuse yourself. Yay!! I got tied to the table even though there was a puppy Labrador on the next table that I wanted to go and play with.
…...............And then Porthmeor Beach was so busy on the walk home that we didn't even attempt to go down there.
Today we have had a really lovely day.
…...............................Sometimes being 'Billy No Mates' is fabulous.
