A Funny Story

A quick look in the garden and I found a tiny frog. They are kind of funny to watch but that is not the funny story I wanted to tell you......Okay, you are right; it is an Ellie story. My son called me and I could hear Ellie crying in the background. I could tell he was trying to get her down for a nap so I suggested she find a book.....but that was not something she wanted to do. Eventually, she agreed to lay down and let me tell her a "Susie Q story"......then I heard her giggle and she told me that I was under the bed......She told me that the phone under her crib, she was laying on a mat on the floor.....anyway, she got her story and then told me to talk quietly......which I did.....she was quiet for awhile.....then she quietly asked, "GG, are you still there?" I quietly said, "Yes, now lets be quiet so we can sleep. She says, "Okay." Soon I heard her breathing the regular rhythm of sleep. I e-mailed my son and told him that I had hung up because I thought she was asleep; he e-mailed me back......"Yes, she is asleep. Thanks." GG to the rescue!  :-))  LOL   If only all crises could be so easy to solve.
