Sandlarking

A wild night with flooding in Cork city and Bantry. Not really what's needed as we now prepare to go into level 5 lockdown for 6 weeks. No visitors, 5km radius for exercise and all but essentials closed. Schools will be remaining open and if you live on your own your are allowed another person to join your bubble. So tough for small businesses who really haven't been open that long since the last lockdown but I think it has to be done. It comes into effect from tomorrow midnight so we might manage one last sortie out with some friends tomorrow.

I have my projects - painting the bathroom and our bedroom, sorting out the polytunnel and possibly finally starting that book on Holy Wells! That should keep me quiet.

Today's pic is for Tiny Tuesday with the theme of something hard - the reasoning is these must be fairly hard wearing as they have survived a good few years in the sea. These are all beachcombed finds, I am unable to resist a bit of sandlarking and have jarfuls of treasures ! Inspired by Beachcomber149 and  Arachne , these are a few of them, artfully arranged on some handmade paper. The Japanese fragment is rather nice isn't it, not your usual willow pattern
