Dock reflections

I had a physio appointment this morning. Looks like my orthotics need to be tweaked a bit more and I made an appointment for next Monday to have them done. Always takes a bit of time for the ol' feet to adjust. Sometimes wish I could still run, but as long as I can work up a good sweat with a brisk walk, all's okay. 
Had a few things to do in town. When I got home, G was just finishing up clearing the driveway. Three days ago we got an email from a neighbour up the road who noticed a tree that had snapped and got hung up across our driveway. It's on the neighbour's property that we share the driveway with but leaning onto trees on ours. If it came down, it would bring down their power, cable and telephone wires. Our neighbour arranged for an arborist to come today, and G said he really knew what he was doing and got it down without going anywhere near the wires. G helped clear up and deliver the cut wood to our neighbour. Her husband is in the city getting dental surgery, so G was happy to lend a hand. 
I'm super excited to have a visit with Beaches Doogie and Impy tomorrow!  Finally!
