Arbutus

A lovely Arbutus, or Madrona(U.S.A.) tree that I admired while out on our dog walk .
These a beautiful evergreen trees with peeling bark and clusters of cream coloured, fragrant flowers which turn into bright red/orange berries in the fall. I will blip some pictures of all these attributes as they occur through the year. One other great thing about them is that the American Robin and Varied Thrushes gorge on the berries during their fall migration and the sounds are wonderful.
