Birthday cake - kransekake

This arrived at the door this afternoon with two grinning faces peering through the window. Wow! It’s a big 0, with a 7 on the front which feels weird except that I have had a lovely, lovely day. This was the crowning glory and it is delicious, an almond mix piped into rings and decorated with icing. Only there was more to it than that, I couldn’t concentrate on the detail. I prefer the extra shot of the cake but for some reason it wouldn’t load onto the main blip.

Do you think anyone will remember next year if I say that I am 70.....

A short exhilarating walk up the hill behind the cottage this afternoon and despite a drizzle we didn’t get too wet. The view was wonderful, if I can find some extras I can post one shot, our cottage for the week is just in view bottom left.

The pusscats sound fine at home, little Jack had a couple days away, he is very wary, hopefully he will adjust in the next day or so, M emails most days along with photos which I love to see.
