Mahon.
New Normality day 123.
Went to town today to sort out a new house insurance policy at the bank.
Struggling up the zillion steps from the free parking by the port while masked is no joke, especially with some flu-like symptoms from yesterday's vaccine. Fair sweating cobs I was, as Mum used to say.
Unfortunately, it was a wasted journey, as when the advisor went to print the policy to sign, the central computer threw a hissy fit and died. It's hoped the IT support can fix it before my current policy expires next week. Decided to forego a supermarket trip while in town and drove straight home. A nice cup of tea followed by a nap on the sofa followed. I woke to find I had assumed the status of a piece of furniture, as three dogs were sleeping on me, one on my neck!
